Colour and Light
Antoni Malinowski

First Year - Spring 2010

First Year Studio
Tuesdays 2-5pm

The course focuses on the interaction of subtractive and additive colour.

We shall be considering micro structure of pigments and other materials as a source of the perceptual interdependence of micro and macro scale. We shall be searching for pigments, materials and surfaces that reflect and refract light in the most interesting ways. We shall be looking at the potential of different sources of light in manipulating colour.
